STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
It is my desire to continue my success and employ my experience in the real estate finance field, as well as expand my abilities with a professional and efficient organization, which enhances my defined career track. While accomplishing these goals I intend to maintain a balance between these career objectives, my family and community involvement.
WORK EXPERIENCE
2/90 to Present MADISON MORTGAGE COMPANY; Madison, WI
(Formerly Consumer Mortgage Company). As an active partner in this company, I helped attain the necessary approvals from servicing sources, mortgage insurance companies and governmental agencies. At the same time, I've continued my loan origination success both in volume and profitability. It is my distinct intention to remain with this organization until retirement.
1/86 to 2/90 METRO MORTGAGE CO., INC.; Madison, WI
A five person mortgage brokerage firm located on Madison's West side. 1986-1989 production of over 60 loans for about 40 million dollars My duties as an independent originator focused on loan origination and customer development as well as corporate direction and philosophy. My application-to-closed loan percentage has always exceeded 90%. During my tenure, I accounted for over 60% of the company's production and almost 70% of the gross profits. Declined to exercise my options for ownership to start my own company.
10/84 to 1/86 KNUTSON MORTGAGE and FINANCIAL CORP.; Madison, WI
A 32-office subsidiary based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, fully owned by HomeOwners Federal Savings and Loan of Boston, Massachusetts. As a Loan Officer I closed $9.4 million in loans through November of 1985. My loans included Federal VA, FHA, State VA, Wisconsin Home Program, Conventional (including PMI), non-owner occupied, income-producing properties and some large commercial referrals. Based on the company information available to me, my production was in the top ten for the entire company. My application-to-closed loan percentage appeared to well exceed 85%. Left the firm due to lack of career advancement opportunities.
